심영목 교수의 연구실은 흉부외과학 분야에 초점을 맞추어 흉막 및 기도 질환, 특히 흉막 종양, 비결핵성 미세박테리아 감염, 폐질환의 수술적 치료 및 영상학적 소견과의 연관성에 대해 심층적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 폐결절의 보조 진단 및 예후 평가, 공기_pollution과 폐암 발생 간의 인과관계 분석 등 정밀의료 및 예방의학적 접근도 함께 다루고 있습니다. 최근에는 만성 출혈성 혈종, 흉선성 종양의 영상학적 특성 및 조직학적 분류와의 연관성 등 고도화된 진단 기반 연구를 지속하고 있습니다.

We reviewed our experience with resection of recurrent lung cancer to evaluate the benefit and risk of the procedure.
