연구실 소개
고영우 교수의 연구실은 무선 전력 전달 통신 네트워크(WPCN)와 관련된 핵심 기반 기술을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 하향회선 신호를 통해 에너지 전달과 동시에 사용자 스케줄링 정보를 전송하는 혁신적인 신호 설계 기법을 개발하며, 전력 수확 기반의 에너지 효율적 통신 시스템의 최적화를 목표로 합니다. 유저의 전송률을 극대화하기 위한 시간 자원 할당 및 컨벡스 최적화 기반의 자원 배분 전략도 핵심 연구 주제입니다. 또한, 금속 성형 공정에서의 탄성 복귀 현상을 정량적으로 예측하기 위한 비선형 비틀림 경화 모델링 기법도 함께 연구하고 있습니다.

Abstract We study wars of attrition with spending constraints. This study examines procurement auction with ex-ante identical firms. The buyer wishes to procure an innovation, the quality of which stochastically depends on firms` effort level. We analyze firms` optimal investment and bidding strategies and show that the buyer`s payoff is non-monotone for the number of firms in the auction. This dissertation consists of three essays on market design and auction theory. In the first chapter, we develop a model of decentralized college admissions in which students' preferences for colleges are uncertain, and colleges must incur costs when their enrollments exceed their capacities.
