연구실 소개

서영웅 교수의 연구실은 주로 액체 유기 수소 매트릭스(Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier, LOHC) 시스템을 핵심으로 하여 수소 저장 및 수송 기술의 핵심 소재와 촉매를 개발하고 있습니다. 특히 질소를 포함한 이소핵형 화합물의 수소화·탈수소화 반응에서 높은 반응성과 안정성을 확보하기 위한 고도화된 촉매 설계, 특히 펠레트형 백금· palladium 촉매와 메조다공성 산화알루미나 지지체를 활용한 촉매 합성 기법을 중점적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 생물 기반 연료의 수소화 탈산소화 공정에서도 촉매의 내구성 향상을 위한 신소재 지지체 개발을 진행하고 있습니다.

Abstract The liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) 2‐( N ‐methylbenzyl)pyridine (MBP) shows good potential for H 2 storage based on reversible hydrogenation and dehydrogenation, with an H 2 storage density of 6.15 wt %. This material and the corresponding perhydro product (H 12 ‐MBP) are liquids at room temperature.
