본 연구의 목적은 여대생들의 신체이미지(body image)에 대한 차이지각을 파악하고 이에 따른 여가활동유형이 여가만족(leisure satisfaction)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 측정도구로 설문지를 사용하였고, 자기평가기입법(self-administrated method)을 통해 응답하게 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울에 소재하고 있는 4년제 대학교의 여대생들을 모집단으로 설정하고, 577부의 자료를 실제분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 자료처리는 windows용 SPSS 13.0 version을 이용하였다. 신체이미지 차이지각에 따른 여가활동유형이 여가만족에 미치는 영향에 있어서 작은 차이지각 집단은 모든 변수에서 사교오락 활동이 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 휴식적 만족을 제외한 모든 변수는 관람감상활동에 인과관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 스포츠 활동은 신체적 만족과 환경적 만족에 인과관계를 나타냈다. 신체이미지 차이지각이 큰 집단은 모든
